Art was Kathy’s passion. She had wanted time to be an artist since her teens. Forced retirement finally gave her an opportunity. The moment came - but all too soon was taken away. Here is a quick glimpse of some of the things she did.

She took lots of photos:

She created strange images like ..."the houses in the road" ...

and "the bubble" ....

She created sculptures ... this one is based on the idea of a Greek helmet

... and strange objects that defied definition ...

... and finally the Madonna House, her homage to motherhood and the home ...
and by the way - she created this image several years before British Gas
started to use a similar picture in their TV advertising!

Kathy saw things that other people didn't.

And she could sing too ...
