In memory of a much loved wife, mother and friend. Kathy Goldsmith-Bray Whether teaching, counselling or simply working for the community, Kathy Goldsmith-Bray had dedicated most of her life to other people. In early 2007 she was diagnosed with a grade four Glioblastoma multiforme - a malignant brain tumour for which there is no cure. The initial prognosis without treatment was three months. With surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy it could be more than a year. In the event Kathy's cancer journey took two and a half years. These pages are dedicated to Kathy's life and specifically the images, events and achievements during her struggle with cancer. Some of the pages have video slideshows which may take a few seconds to load. If you click to view one you may be prompted to download a small piece of standard Microsoft software allowing Windows Media Player to launch in a separate window. Internet Explorer may prompt you, and it is quite safe to say "yes" to this. Any comments or suggestions? Please email journey@kathygoldsmith.co.uk . |
